Madeline has over 6 years experience in Service Learning and facilitation of Service Learning methodology, curriculum development, and promotion in Higher Education. As the Service Learning Coordinator at Gateway Technical College, she is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with community partners, faculty, and students. Madeline has a diverse background in experiences and education that enables her to meet the ever-changing needs of the community and student body. She has worked with students in local service learning and international service learning programs, most notably on the five-year partnership with Orange Walk District, Belize in partnership with Peacework. Madeline is currently working on several cross-discipline projects including, but not limited to, (1) Pathways to Public Service Diagnostic Tool with Stanford University, (2) utilization GivePulse Database, and (3) Civic Action Plan. Madeline has a Bachelors Degree in Asian Studies and Mandarin Chinese from Carthage College and a Masters Degree in Education from Ashford University. She is currently enrolled in Cardinal Stritch University's Doctorate in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service in Higher Education, to be completed in 2020.
